Beautiful red silk ribbon for the 12th Annual Reunion of the 7th Michigan Volunteer Infantry. Held at Jackson, Michigan in June of 1898. This one features a top bar of two US flags and this wonderful celluloid in the center of the ribbon which depicts a Union camp scene. The regiment would fight in some of the wars bloodiest battles. Glendale, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, The Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor and a slew of others. The regiment would suffer nearly 400 deaths from battle and disease by wars end. Just a beautiful ribbon from a hard fought regiment!
