Description
Simple yet beautiful sixth plate tintype of a Federal infantryman. He is photographed here sitting in front of one of the military themed back drops used at Benton Barracks. Seated with legs crossed and his hands in his lap, he wears a four button sack coat and large slouch cap. The image lacks the fanfare of weapons or accouterments yet is still very appealing to the eye. Beautiful clarity as well. Just a really sharp looking image! Housed in a half leatherette case.
