Description
Sixth plate tintype of a pair of two Federal camp chums. The two posed for this photograph in a make-shift camp studio as they can be seen standing on the bare ground. The soldier to the left stands rigid, dressed in his infantry frock. Apparently taken during the warmer months, his fellow camp mate wears a sack coat with the sleeves rolled up while holding a shiny, new tin camp cup for the camera. Neat content. Housed in a half leatherette case.
