Enlistment certificate for private George W. Beanblossom of the 152nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry. George would muster with Company E in February, 1865 just 2 months shy of the end of the war. He would be present with the regiment February to June, 1865 while they performed garrison duty along the Nashville and Chattanooga railroad as well as Memphis. While garrisoned at Memphis he would fall ill and be hospitalized for a short stint. George would return to the regiment and be mustered out in September, 1865. This one does come with his short service records.
