Description
Ninth plate ambrotype of a young woman identified as “Mrs. Farries”. She looks a little awkward in this pose with her head drawn back. Wearing this light colored dressed covered in a pattern of clovers. A small brooch is worn at the neck line which features a small photograph a man. Her husband I would presume. Under a loop you can clearly see a man dressed in a suit. Her name is written inside the case along with some instructions for the development of the photo from the photographer. Housed in a full leatherette case.
