Description
Super neat relic from the Petersburg Battlefield. This is a pretty stout piece of white pine with a minie ball ball imbedded in the wood. The wood has been carved down to expose the top portion of the bullet. On the reverse side you can see the entrance hole the bullet left in the wood as it buried itself into this piece of pine. This example was sold by the now defunct Fort Hell gift shop that was located on the Jerusalem Plank Road and still retains the original tag from the 1950’s or 60’s. Measuring 10.5″ and nearly 7″ in diameter. Really awesome relic from the Petersburg area.
