Description
Quarter plate tintype of an unknown Federal infantryman. This is a period copy made from the original tin. These were often times done as a memorial piece. Standing pose of this young soldier and he leans on the chair at his side. Dressed in a four button sack coat, military vest and his cap. It comes housed in a German silver frame. The easel on the reverse of the case separated long ago. A little polish and that frame will sparkle like new! A slight amount of crazing to this image.
