United States model 1836 pistol by A. H. Waters of Milbury, Massachusetts dated 1838. Former flintlock pistol which has been converted to percussion. Stamped on the lock plate “A. H. Waters Milbury, MS 1838”. 8.5 inch long round barrel in .54 caliber with walnut stock. This one half and fully cocks with the trigger completely functional. Ramrod is fully functional as well. At least one cartouche visible reading “LL”. 13.75 inches over all. Small wood fracture in rear of the lock plate. Very nice example with the walnut stock exhibiting a beautiful patina. This one is tight as a drum. Good display piece.
