Description
Quarter plate tintype in an oval format of two men seated next to one another. Both strike similar poses with legs crossed and hands folded in their lap. The man seated to the left appears to be dressed in a four button sack coat and sports a pair of striped trousers. Whether or not he is or was a Federal soldier I cannot say. The plate does have a few slight creases in it. This does come housed in a magnificent hand carved wood frame that is a work of art in itself!
