Description
Sixth plate tintype in the horizontal format of a yank infantryman enjoying a smoke with a friend. The pair sit shoulder to shoulder, each with a very large cigar clenched in their teeth. The young fellow seated to the left sits dressed in a frock with what appear to be a row of large eagle buttons running down the front. The other gentleman is dressed in civilian attire. Really neat image. Housed in a full leatherette case with a split spine.
