Description
Double cased pair of ninth plate images featuring a husband and wife. To the left rests a beautifully tinted ruby ambrotype of the soldiers wife. Dressed in a blue dress which has been skillfully tinted. Crystal clear image of this young woman. To the right resides the image of her husband in the form of a tintype. A cavalry sergeant from an unknown Federal cavalry regiment. Casually dressed with his jacket worn unbuttoned. These come housed in a very nice double sided patriotic thermoplastic case.
