Description
Very nice carte view of this young lad dressed in civilian attire and holding a forage cap in hand. This has a more modern pencil id on the reverse stating that this is an unidentified drummer boy. How much truth there is to that statement, I do not know. There is a cancelled tax stamp on the reverse dated 1864.
