Description

126th New York Infantry reunion badge from the August, 1913 reunion held in Geneva, New York. This example has a celluloid of Noyes S. Burlew who would serve in “C” Company of the 126th. Noyes would be captured at Harper’s Ferry in 1862 when the entire garrison was surrendered. He would later be discharged for a disability in 1863. Post War he would serve of the general for the regiment’s G.A.R. post. This one does have the ribbon detached from the suspension bar.
