Brilliant red silk reunion ribbon for the 140th New York Infantry’s June 13th, 1901 regimental reunion. This particular reunion was held in Glen Haven, New York. This example has a paper board 5th Corps badge affixed to the silk ribbon. The 140th would fight is some of the war’s fiercest battles. Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor and several others. This may have had a suspension bar at the top at one time but of the handful of these I have seen of this particular ribbon, all have been absent a suspension bar. Very nice ribbon.
