Description
Silk reunion ribbon from the 14th New York Volunteer Infantry worn during the 1892 reunion held in Washington, D.C. Known as the “1st Oneida County Regiment”, they would see action in a number of battles including Hanover Court House, Gaines Mill, Malvern Hill, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville and others. This example features a celluloid medallion at the top with a G.A.R. Membership badge represented on the face of the celluloid. A pink silk ribbon measures 7″ hangs from the celluloid with a 5th Corps badge located in the center and “14th Regt. N.Y.S.V.” across the top. Very nice ribbon with no fraying.
