Nice little handbook titled “Hand-Book of the Battles in the War of the Rebellion” from the 1887 G.A.R. Reunion held in St. Louis. The book lists every battle that was fought during the war as well as the number of casualties of each battle. Whoever the book belonged to, they have gone through and put a check mark next to each of the battles in which they participated. The name “Frank Kersey” is written in pencil on the front cover but the only match I could locate served in the 10th U.S.C.T and does not match with the battles which have been checked within the book. Very informative little book.
