1896 United Confederate Veteran UCV Richmond Reunion Badge. Original souvenir badge as worn by United Confederate Veterans at the 6th Annual Reunion of the UCV in Richmond, Virginia in 1896. 1 1/2″ by 2 1/2″, of a handsome stamped brass with great detail and bright finish, a two part body with a pinback top bar that reads “SOUVENIR,” two suspension rings, and a body that reads “REUNION, UNITED CONFEDERATE VETERANS, JUNE 30, 1896, CONFEDERATE WHITE HOUSE & JEFF DAVIS HOME, RICHMOND, VA..” An American eagle appears above the building within a diamond and laurel branches. The back mark reads “SCHWAAB S & S CO., MILWAUKEE.”. This one is however missing the pin on the reverse.
