Description
Reunion ribbon for the 28th New York Infantry’s, 49th reunion held in in May of 1910. This example features a red, white and blue ribbon reading “1861 – 1865 49th Reunion 28th Regiment N. Y. State Volunteers 1st Brigade 1st Division 12th Army Corps Army of the Potomac Lockport, N.Y. May 21, 1910″. The ribbon is suspended from a celluloid featuring Colonel Dudley who was mortally wounded at Cedar Mountain on August 9, 1862. Some soiling to the ribbon itself, but otherwise a nice example.
