Description
Very nice 3rd Michigan Cavalry ribbon from the September reunion held in Detroit, Michigan in 1914. This example features a celluloid of John W. Fitzgerald who was serving as the president for the 3rd Michigan at the time. John would serve in in Company G of the 3rd Cavalry from February, 1864 through February of 1866. The regiment would be active in the battles of Corinth, Coffeeville, Franklin and Nashville.
