G.A.R. membership badge with the rank of adjutant. This example features the typical G.A.R. 5-pointed star which is attached to the US flag ribbon. The top bar bears a field of purple with two small rank bars indicating this individuals role as adjutant. This one does have the serial number “E4808” stamped along the edge of the star. Overall a very good example.
