Very neat book from the 14th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry which covers the battles in which the regiment participated in from 1862 through 1863. In September, 1891, veterans of the regiment would gather at Antietam to tour the various battlefields in which the regiment fought to include Gettysburg, Antietam, Harper’s Ferry, Fredericksburg and Washington. All photographs published in the book were taken by 14th Connecticut Infantry member Albert Hall who would serve as a musician for the regiment during the war. The book consists of a total of 30 photographic pages showing scenes of some of the most iconic locations of these now famous battlefields. Measures 6.5″ x 4.5″. Neat little book.
