Description
Beautiful ninth plate ruby ambrotype of what is most likely a member of an east coast artillery unit. Massachusetts, New Hampshire or possibly Vermont Dressed in a grey uniform, he sports fringed epaulettes which have been tinted red with unique red trim on the collar as well. The cuffs on the coat are also trimmed. Wonderful clarity to this image. Housed in a full leatherette case.
