Description
Very nice large format cabinet card of the 13th Pennsylvania Reserves, Pennsylvania Bucktails monument located of the Gettysburg battlefield. Located along the southern slope of Big Round Top, the monument was dedicated in 1890 to honor the hard fighting regiment and commemorate their action there on July 2nd. The regiment would suffer nearly 50 casualties during the fight. This example was produced by well known Gettysburg photographer, William H. Tipton. Measures 8.5″ x 5 1/4″.
