Description
This is a really awesome relic. We have a 58 cal. bullet imbedded in a piece of pine. This was obviously recovered very long ago after the tree had grown around the bullet. A faint pencil inscription on the back side reads “Got on the battle at Spotsylvania. Found on Death Angle”. The “Death Angle” obviously in reference to the Bloody Angle which saw the battles fiercest and bloodiest fighting. This piece measures 4.5″ long and 2″ wide. One of the better examples I have had. Really neat piece!
