Sixth plate tintype of a Federal soldier. Seated pose of this soldier dressed in a four button sack coat. This image is so clear, you can see every fuzz ball on the material of this very shoddy constructed sack coat. He sits clenching a cigar between his fingers and rests his arm on the table beside him. The American flag can be seen draped over the table and his forage cap rests on top. There is some hat brass on top of the cap but the angle makes it impossible to read. Behind the man a camp themed back drop is visible. This is really a very nicely composed image. Housed in a full leatherette case.
