Description
Really neat, war date Confederate relic. This is an unfired Confederate cartridge still retaining the ball and powder. A very old ink inscription on the cartridge itself reads, “Rebel Cartridge. Hills Point Battery, Virginia. April, 1863″. This one is also stamped “C.S.” on the paper cartridge itself leaving no doubt that this was in fact a cartridge issued by the Confederacy. Super cool relic!
