Description

Nice grouping of dug relics recovered from Confederate General Thomas Rosser’s, 1864 cavalry winter camp located in Cattail Creek, Virginia. Included in the grouping is a nice chunk of wood with a pistol ball lodged in it, fired lead balls, eagle buttons, caps, a brass thimble and a finale for a cartridge box. Other relics include the remains of a harmonica, the hook to a US waist belt plate, buckles, a small comb and a boot plate.
