Description
Wonderful post war veterans badge attributed to Edmund Brown of the 21st Illinois Volunteer Infantry. Edmund would muster with Company H in October of 1864 serving until his discharge the following October. This example still retains the original blue silk ribbon which is most often long gone. The top suspension bar reads “E. BROWN”. The face of the shield reading “Co. H. 21st Ill. Inf”. This does still retain the pin on the reverse. Very nice veterans badge.
