Description
Wonderful sixth plate ambrotype of this Federal infantryman. This image is exceptionally clear with those eagle buttons just as plain as day. He even combed his hair to look his sharpest for the image. Dressed in his infantry frock, he wears a large brass “K” pinned to his collar denoting his company. This was popular among many early Wisconsin regiments, however he could be from any state. Housed in a full leatherette case.
