Description
Quarter plate tintype of a Federal infantryman. Full standing view of this infantry private photographed in the field. Dressed in his infantry frock and US leather accouterments. Standing in the grass, he is posed in front of this elaborately painted, military themed back drop. This would have probably been taken during the winter and spring of 1862 and early 63′. I do not have a case or any hardware for this one. It’s just the tin by itself housed in a riker case.
