This is a beautiful filler carte view for a cdv album. These were part of a larger series of views which I believe consisted of 15 or 16 total views in the series. Titled “Gen. Burnside at Antietam“. This view depicts troops as they clash on the Burnside Bridge. General Burnside is seen seated on his horse with sword aloft, waving on his troops. Wonderful, vibrant colors remaining. No back mark but these were done by J. H. Bufford of Boston. Beautiful view!
