This is a beautiful filler carte view for a cdv album. These were part of a larger series of views which I believe consisted of 15 or 16 total views in the series. Their purpose was to fill empty sleeves in your cdv album. Titled “Gen. Meade at Fredericksburg”. This view depicts the general directing troops during the battle. Beautiful vibrant colors remaining. No back mark but these were done by J. H. Bufford of Boston. Beautiful view!
