Carte view of an Illinois volunteer infantryman. Studio pose next to this large pedestal and dressed in an Illinois state issue jacket. A wonderful brown felt beehive slouch cap is held in his hand also. This did have a period ink id along the bottom at one time, but unfortunately somebody thought it was a good idea to trim it off so the image could fit in an album. No back mark.
