Description
This is a large document pertaining to Thomas Peelar who would work as a telegraph operator for the 3rd Arkansas Cavalry. There are a total of 11 various dispatches beginning in July, 1864 through late may, 1865. Also included is a war date river pass for Thomas and several post war letters from 1866 and 1867. Most of these military dispatches are from Little Rock and Lewisburg, Arkansas. Thomas’s original leather document pouch in which all of these documents were found in is also included. Very neat group!
