Cabinet card, litho view of the infamous Libby Prison image. Photographed by Richmond photographer, Charles Rees, in this well known view. Numerous tents are set up just outside of the large brick prison with several Confederate guards visible standing about. The card stock measures 6.5″ by 4.25 inches in overall size. An old ink inscription along one side reads “Libby Prison in 1863″. Produced by C. V. Hamer of Columbus, Ohio.
