Description
Ninth plate tintype of a male subject with a dog seated in his lap. He is wearing a military issue vest in this portrait so he may in fact have been serving in the Union army, but since he lacks any other military issue attire, I am listing him as a civilian. He also sports this fantastic, large brimmed, straw hat. The dog, which appears to be very comfortable laying in his lap, moved slightly blurring the image. Neat image regardless. Housed in a full leatherette case with a split spine.
