Description
This is a multi-colored hat cord made from two strands of cotton cord. Somewhat crude construction. This one would have originally been black and yellow. Most of the black string which covered the brown cord has has deteriorated, however some does still remain. Two tightly woven acorns remain attached. Probably worn by a field officer. This may have southern origins do to the crudeness of it’s construction. Some fraying to the cord, but still a decent example.
