Ninth plate tintype with a super cool look! Dressed in this really neat, four button blouse with pleated sleeves. Atop his head sits a large straw hat, tilted slightly with perhaps a military button pinned to the front. One can assume that this image hails from the deep south based on his appearance. An old ink id is penned on the reverse of the image reading “T. N. Owens”. There was a Thomas N. Owens that would serve in the 19th Arkansas Infantry however that is merely speculation as to this subjects identity. This one comes housed in a very nice, full leatherette case.
