Description
This is a pair of two dug US issue plates consisting of an eagle breast plate and US waist plate. I do not know where these were recovered. The breast plate bears a very nice aged patina to the front with the reversed oxidized and the two iron hooks missing. The waist plate is just the skin only with the lead backing absent. There is some oxidation to the face of this one as you can see with some light pitting to the surface.
