Description

Post war cabinet card of Edwin Kellogg of the 89th New York Infantry and George Brown of 157th Pennsylvania Infantry. Both men would lose an arm while fighting at Petersburg in June, 1864. Post war, the two men were photographed together in a series of different views. Those views were later sold to help support the two men financially. Edwin is shown seated holding a bugle which rests on his thigh while George holds the US flag. This example is a bit faint.
