Item No. CL5712SM Categories ,

Ninth plate tintype of a possible rebel soldier or civilian with piercing blue eyes. Dressed in this butternut, homespun jacket. A cloth closure tab secures the two flaps of the coat together while a paper document can be seen tucked into an exterior breast pocket of the coat. He wears the coat over this wonderful and brilliant red shirt with a red silk necktie. Also worn is this wonderful felt slouch cap. There is a small blemish to the left side of the plate as you can see. Still a great looking image with lots of character. Housed in a full thermoplastic case.
