Description
Small cdv album carried by Frank Patterson of the 140th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. Containing a total of 14 images, mainly comprising family members. There is one view of Frank dressed in his infantry frock. Inscribed in the front cover is a notation reading “Frank Patterson Album”. Presumably written by Frank himself during the war. It is followed by a second and later notation reading “Father carried this album through the war. F. L. Patterson”. The majority of images contained within the album are identified. Also included is a colorful calling card which belonged to Frank. Nice little id’d pocket album.
