Minty quarter plate tintype in the horizontal format of this unknown soldier photographed with his wife. Two very solemn looking individuals. Exceptional clarity and condition to this view. The couple sits side by side as she holds onto he husbands arm. He would appear to have belonged to a cavalry unit dressed in his service jacket and heavy cavalry trousers. Just a great looking image. I do not have a case for this one however.
