Description
Quarter plate tintype of this very homely looking soldier. Possibly a new recruit. Very simple pose of this soldier dressed in a 5 button sack coat and kepi. A military vest s worn underneath the coat although he does wear civilian trousers. Possibly from Connecticut as there were some troops issued 5 button sack coats from that state. A little foggy down around the bottom. I have no case for this one. Just the mat, preserver and glass.
