Description
Sixth plate tintype of two identical homes which are joined in the center by a large alcove window. I am not sure what the purpose this structure served. I doubt it was merely a residential home. Perhaps an orphanage or boarding house of some sort. Several people can be viewed sitting in open windows while one subject is seated on the front stoop. This does have a slight bit of crazing to it. It comes housed in a scare thermoplastic case with the gilded center, it is however broken along the bottom edge unfortunately.
