Description
Grouping of 4 views from the Strattan family mounted in the original album sleeves. The center piece of the group is an outdoor view photographed in the streets of Strattanville, Pennsylvania. Several individuals are shown seated in a small buggy and standing beside it. An inscription along the front reads, “Ida Mahoney, Merta Smith, Hays Frampton, Dr. Shirly, Milton Strattan. Picture taken at Strattanville”. Whether Milton was somehow connected to the naming of Strattanville, I do not know. A second view of Merta Smith, accompanies the group as well as a CDV identified as “Jane Keatly” and a tintype view of a small boy identified as “Ernest H. Smith age 3 yrs”.
