Description
Original copy of “Smith’s Knapsack of Facts and Figures ’61 to ’65”. Published in 1884 and written by former member of the 124th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Frank Smith. The book is an interesting compilation of an interview with Frank regarding his imprisonment at Andersonville Prison and war time experiences. This book makes for a very interesting read and gives a great first person account of life inside Andersonville Prison. Frank would be captured at Pickett’s Mill, Georgia in May of 1864 and subsequently sent to Andersonville Prison. Very neat little book. Approximately 112 pages. All the pages are intact on this one. The spine is however in a little rough condition although still holding together. Very interesting book.
