Description
Very nice Smith’s Patent infantry officers shoulder board. This board is constructed of a stamped brass, false embroidered, single border with dark blue field of velvet at center. This example is denoting the rank of 2nd lieutenant of infantry. No mothing to the blue velvet field. Bottoms are covered in dark blue wool with a small bit of mothing. These are usually marked on the bottom with patent information but it has long since worn off of these. This one is in very nice condition, just a little dirty from storage and age.
