Description
Sobering Andersonville Prison cabinet card which lists many of the horrors that occurred there. Each individual scene within the print is numbered with a corresponding number below which describes the scene. I can say some of these scenes are quite disturbing and were taken from actual events that occurred within the walls of the prison. This is the first time I have encountered this view in cabinet card form. Measures 6.5″ x 4″ with a small piece missing out of the lower left corner. Produced and marked on the reverse by Bark & Hill of Belvidere, Illinois.
