Description
Very nice display piece of a trimmed carte view of Confederate General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson mounted in a period frame. Bust portrait of the general which has been mounted to a brown velvet back ground. This is all original and still retains the undisturbed paper seal on the reverse of the frame. There are the remnants of a very old paper tag on the backside of this frame, perhaps from a museum. Unfortunately only a few partial words are visible on what remains of the tag. Mounted in the original walnut frame measuring 7.5″ x 6.5″. Really nice piece.
